Shoppingwise, there are not a great deal of local crafts but ample minimarkets. Just enough facilities to live day to day.
Activities here mainly consists of sunbathing, water sports and long walks in the mountains and pine forests. The nightlife is vibrant, with various discos and bars, but the only access is by car or moped.
There are several very good traditional Greek tavernas serving typical Greek dishes such as souvlaki, kleftiko and stifado.
