There are a number of ski-schools, one located in the village centre, have English-speaking instructors and cater for all ages and abilities.

There is limited choice for shoppers, mainly offering souvenirs and local clothing, ski-wear and equipment hire. There are 2 supermarkets which caters for everyday needs. Innsbruck's choice and sophistication is close by.

Popular summer activities include mountain hiking and biking, a leisure centre offering swimming (indoor and out with adventure pool), shooting range and bowling alleys, tennis, squash, a local-history museum, para- and hang-gliding, horse-drawn carriage rides, horse riding, climbing and summer skiing on the glacier.

Winter attractions include cross-country skiing, horse-drawn sleigh rides, ice-skating, curling and a toboggan run of nearly 5 mls.

The nightlife here offers numerous cafes, bars and a few discos.

There is a good choice of mountain restaurants and huts, including reputedly the highest restaurant in Austria. Modest selection of cafes, snack bars and pizzerias in village. Hotel restaurants offer a wide choice at reasonable prices.
