The Guildhall an ancient Council Chamber contains Lincoln's civic Insignia, considered the finest collection of civic regalia outside London .

The Usher Gallery is a major venue for all aspects of the fine and decorative arts. Here you can see fine collections of works by Peter de Wint, topographical paintings, and memorabilia connected with the poet Tennyson.
