The Heavenly ski resort area had beautful views of Lake Tahoe. Great spot, very expensive though. If going for more than 5 days it works out cheaper to buy season pass. I reccommend buying a season pass earlier - they go up in price around January. Also it's possible to get a friend in cheap if you have the season pass buy buying them a buddy pass.

HeliTahoe was wonderful. The pilot was very friendly while still professional and safe. We loved the small business feel of the whole experience. It was the highlight of our trip and well worth the money. We saw the entire lake and surrounding area in a way that was breathtaking and stunning.
