This resort is absolutely wonderful. The staff, accommodation, pool areas, gardens, are great. For a 3 1/2 star it was much better than the Bali Hyatt further up the coast. We stayed in a bungalow which was wonderful. The staff were always cleaning/ tidying/sweeping up so the resort was exceptionally clean. The hotel is virtually beachfront with great sunbeds/loungers. I would definitely stay at this resort if I ever went to Bali again. The resort of Sanur was probably the nicest out of Nusa Dua, Kuta/Seminyak. Did travel to Ubud for 2 days which was great and well worth seeing, but the Puri Santrian is a must if visiting Sanur and you want a beach front hotel. Couldn't fault it.

this hotel is everything you want it to be, it is like being in paradise. the staff are so friendley and make you feel special.the fodd quality is very good but very expensive for bali prices so dont expect a cheap meal in this hotel, but remember it is 4*.

if you want to stay in the hotel & never leave your sun lounger then this hotel is for you because outside the hotel there is nothing.taxi is a must as walking to any sort of shop or restaurent will take a goood 20 -25 mins walk,in the eveining its not to bad but in the day with bali sunshine beeming down on you its not nice. also you will be forever getting hassled by cars passing by and locals outside the hotel offering you transport.try and stick to the taxis in the hotel this way you will be safe as some of the other ones we went in dident seem to cleaver.ocean rafting is a must, even spotted a dolphin and the snorkaling is amazing,a must. the white water is a good experiance although a bit scarey at times but a good laugh.

the discovering bali tours are very interesting but can get a bit boring although monkey forest is brill.make sure you buy the food to feed them with & dont be scared if thay jump on your head, trust me its hard not to be.kuta is the place for souvaners and shopping & the night life supposed to be great.
melia bali is the best hotel ive been to ,but as for nusa dua its very boring but we are young and ime not the one to sit on a sun bed allday.

Firstly I would like to say Please don't let the Balli Bombimngs put you off this wonderfull destination. I just arrived home after the latest bombings and have to admit, We vacated all the target areas just hours before. The people are mostly Hindu lovely kind people, very welcoming, I feel for them as they still had'nt recovered from the first Bali Bomb.

Anyway Bali itself is so very cheap, our saying for the holiday was "cheap as chips!". The only place you truely can spend your money is the Hotel. Local taxis are nothing and you can have a personal driver all day for as little as £5 - but i advise giving more. The rooms are fab the balaneese style complex is astounding join the regency club and have champagne cocktails and canopes daily, whilst feeding the coy carp and watching the herrings feed on them!! The piano bar is fabulous and tranquill although for the night owls, go to Kuta all the bars are fun and still cheap, try the night bungee in double 6 club excellent. that is our second time there and it won't be our last; Great for both young and old However with 8 years between each vist we noticed it was lots more commercial which worried me. Tannah Lott is a must, The monkey forest, Kintamante Volcanoe, and Ubud for its craftsman and beautiful furniture.. I could go on and on please enjoy!!P.S Please dont be mistaken thinking that there sister hotel is a better option its not as up market and needs refurbishing, however it is cheaper and has more younger children.

There are not many all inclusive hotels available in Bali and this was definately a great find. Bali is a fantastic place and the people have so much to offer. It was such a shame that they have suffered so much after both bombings, which was our reason for travelling to Bali to be able to put back into their economy and we were absolutely amazed at the service that we received.

We thought that we had booked a basic 3 star hotel and we did wonder what we would get for £70 a night for 2 people all inclusive. We could not believe our luck on arriving. Our bedroom had everything you could possibly need and was immacutely clean. The food and drink was available 24/7 and consisted off a fantasic range of food for every meal. We were living off fresh prawns, fish, baby lobster, mongolian BBQ and many other mouth watering dishes.

The Balinese people provide a great service and are sofriendly. Everyone at the hotel learnt our names and they were never forgotten. They would go out of their way to help us and make sure our stay was an enjoyble one.

I will be returning to this hotel again and again as a stop over on my way home to New Zealand. I would have pleasure in recommending this hotel to anyone.

Probably one of the most friendly hotel I have ever stayed at. There seemed to be a lot of guests that were repeat guests. Bali is suffering at the moment following the bomb and people are genuinly keen that you enjoy Bali.

The rooms were fine (didn't spend much time in them).

The food was excellent of of very high quality. Very little room to get bored with the food as there was such a variety every day.

The entertainment was average although the band that played their three nights a week was really good although they didn't know any David Bowie hits.

Had fun with the free watersports.

Went on a number of day trips
Elephant safari - Taro - excellent
Mountain biking and white water rafting - brilliant.
Kuta - not my cup of tea (or glass of Bintang)

A piece of advice - changed flights at Kuala Lumpar - booked the use of the KL Lounge for the family (about £30 on the internet) - brilliant - free food, drinks, showers and plenty of space to relax prior to the next flight.
