Richter Hotel (Pension) |

I wanted to visit Budapest city and booked the Richter Hotel through a website dealing with Hotel Reservations. To be honest, I was looking for a cheap holiday for myself and the Richter, on the website, appeared to be a reasonably priced hotel offering a reasonable standard of accommodation. How wrong I was!!! I would recommend the Richter Hotel to anyone wishing to visit Budapest. Although it is a little out of the centre, it was worth every penny. Very friendly amd helpful staff, they even sell bus/tram tickets at the reception in order to travel all around Budapest at VERY reasonable prices (170HFL about 50p each). Plenty of information about what was happening in Budapest and the surrounding are was available. The restaurant staff (B+B) were all very courteous and helpful and ensured you were well looked after. The room and en-suite bathroom was kept spotless. If you are looking for accommodation in Budapest - look no further. There are also a few really good restaurants near by and very reaonably priced.

Unusual but fantastic holiday for the family. Eastern Europe is the best kept secret as far as holidays are concerned. Budapest and the surrounding towns are really geared up for tourists but at the moment not many people know about it!
Wonderful places to take the kids everything is reasonable priced and the people are wonderful. Great for famillies with a wide age range like us. a visit to the many open air Spar baths a must. The zoo is a pleasure for kids and adults alike. I highly recommend Budapest in fact we are planning to go again next year!

Danubius Thermal Hotel |

This Hotel is located on Margaret Island which is in the center of the River Danube, no cars are allowed on the Island and the whole island is beautiful and historic.
The Hotel is up market with the most extensive Spa facillities and treatments I have ever seen,
fed by the Thermal hot springs that are so common in Budapest, the Spa is included in the price of the room, which are spacious with Mini bar,tv, safe, balcony, the staff are friendly and if you want a relaxing spa break this is the place to go and so much cheaper than health farms in the UK, as is Budapest in general, so much to see and do specially in the summer.

The Cotton House Hotel and the associated Cotton Club are not to be missed by anyone travelling to Budapest. The overall standards of accomodation were superb and the staff so pleasant and all at a very reasonable price. Wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else.
