Cameroon Travel Guide

Cameroon is often referred to as "Africa in Miniature" for its geological and cultural diversity, beaches, deserts, mountains, rainforests, and savannas that typify the African continent as a whole. Getting the riches of the African continent in bite-size of a single stable country, you'd probably expect tourism in Cameroon to be booming. However, Cameroon’s tourist industry is a victim of geography. It sits in a tough region, bordered by some problematic countries. Despite this, it shouldn't put you off visiting this delightful country which has virtually none of the problems of its neighbours. Cameroon real­ly has just about everything a traveller could wish for. Aside from its incredibly diverse landscape (which include the highest peak in W Africa, active volcano, beaches, rainforests..etc) it is also one of the most culturally diverse countries on the continent (featuring ancient tribal kingdoms, Muslim pastoralists and forest-dwelling pygmies).
