In close proximity to Paguera is the idyllic cove which forms Cala Fornells. Just over ¾ ml in length, the resort comprises a clutch of hotels, some apartments, a few private houses and limited amenities, mainly set along the one long, winding road. Like so many of the little villages and towns in Mallorca Cala Fornells is a slow, relaxed pace resort centred around a picturesque beach setting. Cala Fornells is located on the SW coast, 16 mls W of Palma, 3 mls from the centre of Paguera, which extends much closer, 21 mls from the international airport. It is set along a narrow, winding road, part way along a pine-clad headland, with an E-facing cove.
